5 Freedoms Every Entrepreneur Should Have In The End

Have you ever paused from your busy schedule and thought to yourself, “Why am I doing this?”

If you are like me, you are probably doing it for your family.

I was making a seven-figure income by being a corporate CEO, however, it didn’t allow me to spend my days with the people that matter the most to me.

I faced a fork in my life when I decided that things had to change. I resigned in order to figure it out because I could not lose my family and so that’s the choice I made.

In my journey, I realized that, like the clients that I serve now, we are all striving to achieve what I call “The 5 Freedoms”.

These are The 5 Freedoms that became my guide in building my business and running my life the way successful entrepreneurs do.

1. Financial

We all want to have financial freedom but it shouldn’t be just about the numbers. It has to be about the quality of your income. It’s how you are able to make as little or as much as you want whenever you want.

If you have that power over your finances, that’s the time when you can say that you have financial freedom.

2. Time

We have less and less time — a notification here, a ding and a dong there, it’s like we have no time! This is one thing that money can’t buy and we can never get back once it’s gone.

So having the freedom to spend your time on work, hobbies, or people that matters to you is the best gift you can give yourself. After all, life is short.

3. Location

Interesting enough, an Uber driver can have financial and time freedom, but he doesn’t have location freedom because he has to sit in his car all day. Although this is a revolutionary way to make a living, I’m looking to get 5 freedoms.

Location freedom is being able to work wherever you are most productive. For some, it’s by the beach, a co-working space, or a home office which sometimes turns into a nursery whenever your kids storm in for some play time.

4. True Boss

We all have bosses whether it’s the board of directors or your investors or whoever it may be. But are you the boss of your life?

This is significant to me because for you to be truly free you must be able to make your own decisions guided by your own values. If someone is holding you back, then you have not fully realized this.

5. Trusted People

Are people at work draining the life out of you? If so, leave them or let go of them.

You can actually have a life where you have the freedom to choose who you work with, may it be clients or team members. There are a lot of amazing people out there and you just have to look around for the best fit.

I couldn’t do what I do now without the help of the people around me and this is why I choose to be surrounded by like-minded individuals.

How do The 5 Freedoms resonate with you?

Let me know how you feel about them.
